Big Idea: God is Sovereign.
1. Zechariah & Elizabeth's prayer has been heard.
- Call upon the Lord and He will hear you. (Jer. 29:12-13)
- Be faithful while waiting. (Prov. 3:5-6)
2. Zechariah & Elizabeth's answered prayer will bring joy and gladness.
- God's grace turns mourning into joy and gladness.
(Psalm 30:11)
- God's grace is enough.
3. Zechariah & Elizabeth's blessing will be a blessing to others.
- John was the Lord's blessing to the Jews.
- John is a blessing to us.
